Mark Trollip
Managing Director
Mr. Trollip brings extensive expertise in project planning, management, and renewable energy and P.V. Solutions. With valuable relationships forged over the last decade with key players in the South African renewables landscape. His background includes valuable experience from working in demanding environments like High Pressure Natural Gas and Oil Drilling, on shore and off shore. He also trained as a Millwright in the South African sector. He was first exposed to Solar P.V. in the US, where it was incorporated in to infrastructure on drill sites. As the Managing Director, Mark ensures precise operations and strategic direction, guiding HydroSun towards excellence.
Milton Erasmus
Master Electrician MIE
As a registered MIE with the Department of Labour, Milton Erasmus brings over 34 years of unrivaled expertise in Construction Electrical. His extensive background and hands-on experience allow Hydrosun to seamlessly integrate our Solar designs in to existing AC infrastructure.
Specializing in all electrical applications and installations, including Certification of Compliance (COC’s), Milton ensures top-notch quality, compliance and safety standards in every project he undertakes.
Armen Smook
Junior Engineer, Technical Support and communication
Armen brings a fresh perspective and dedication to the company, enriching our engineering capabilities with his diverse expertise. Initially pursuing Mechanical Engineering then transitioning to Electrical Engineering through a renowned Australian institution, showcasing his passion for innovation. Armen’s forward-thinking ideas keep us at the forefront of technological advancements. Currently, he is specializing in electrical systems and wiring. His dual expertise enables us to provide tailored, comprehensive solutions that meet the unique needs of our clients.

Chief Administrator

Since Hydrosun joined the Herholdt’s Group Trusted Installer Program in 2022, we have successfully installed approximately 350 backup and solar systems up to 600kW. Our commitment to excellence is reflected in our achievement of maintaining a less than 1% failure rate across all installed equipment supplied by the Herholdt’s Group.
